Affordable Housing

The Housing Authority of Newport currently rents 172 apartments at Peter G. Noll homes. This development has town-house style apartments (one bedrooms are a one-floor plan) ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. These apartments are fully equipped with stoves and refrigerators, hardwood floors and central a/c. Rent is based on either 30% of income, or the rent schedule below, depending on family circumstances. We are currently taking applications for this site at our Site Officelocated at 400 West 6th Street,  Newport, KY. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Birth Certificates and Social Security Cards for each family member are required when submitting an application.

 

This 39-unit, new development is currently under construction. All apartments will have two-bedrooms, equipped with stove and refrigerator, w/d hookup, and central a/c. The apartments are located on Liberty Street (between Central and Isabella); West 8^th Street; Roberts Street and Saratoga Streets. We are currently taking applications for this site at our central office located at 30 East 8^th Street, 2^nd Floor, Newport, KY. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
