The Housing Authority will have two senior living complexes. These complexes are Grand Towers located on Grand Avenue in Newport, Kentucky and Corpus Christi Apartments on Isabella Street, Newport, Kentucky.Grand Towers is a 139 unit building. Each unit is one bedroom and comes with an equipped kitchen and utilities are included in the rent. All of the apartments, lobby, and community center have been completely remodeled. Grand Towers is also a Senior Citizen of Northern Kentucky site. They offer a hot lunch Monday through Friday in the large Community Room located on site. Activities such as bingo, cards, crafts and movies are also offered through the week in the Community Room. Grand Towers also offers an on-site beauty salon and free computer internet use.Our newest senior living complex is Corpus Christi Apartments. This complex will have twenty apartments available, each being one bedroom. Amenities include stove, refrigerator, air conditioning, washer and dryer. Four of these units will be townhouse style apartments with a full bath and bedroom on the second floor. These apartments will include a half bath on the first floor living area.We are accepting applications for both of these sites.
